In May everything shifted to fully finished and presentable music project. I moved into the mastering stage, corrected any remaining details, and prepared the project to finally meet an audience on Bandcamp and SoundCloud.
Finishing and mastering
Finishing off all three tracks, tightening structures and cleaning up any weak sections.
Re‑recorded any parts that needed improvement (timing, tuning, tone) so the performances would hold up once mastered.
Put focused energy into mastering, treating it as the final stage of audio production where the mixed tracks are polished, balanced and prepared so they sound consistent and competitive on different playback systems and are ready for release.
“Minem Ilem” vocal work
Re‑recorded the vocals for “Minem Ilem” with better control over tone, pitch and Tatar pronunciation.
Added extra ad‑libs to enrich the texture and emotional intensity of the vocal arrangement, especially in key phrases and transitions.
Checked how the new vocal takes sat in the mix, adjusting levels, effects and automation so the voice feels central but still integrated with the electronic and folk elements.
Promos and release prep
Dedicated time to editing and finalising all promo materials: visuals, text, and any short clips for social media and announcements.
Prepared my Bandcamp page, using it as an artist‑centred space where listeners can directly support the project and explore the EP as a complete work.
Uploaded the tracks to SoundCloud, taking advantage of its creator‑first, social platform structure where independent artists can upload, share and promote their music directly to listeners worldwide.
By the beginning of June, the EP's music and all accompanying materials were live and ready for the audience to discover.
